Nobody gets it, they don't. They look at the weight, at the heavy breaths, at the sagging clothes struggling to cling to stretched-out bodies, and they think it's a damn choice. But the truth hits harder, like a punch to the gut you never saw coming: obesity ain't nothing but poverty's shadow. A ruthless whisper that creeps in where hope's light can't reach.

We're scraping by, you know? It's not about wanton indulgence, lounging around, stuffing our faces with abandon. Hell no. It's about survival in a world that doesn’t give you a fighting chance. Look at those kids, lining up in the school canteen, hands reaching for a meal that’s supposed to fuel them but instead fills 'em up with sugar, fat, and a haunting emptiness. Calories, they've got plenty – oh, you can count those until the end of days – but nutrition? That's the ghost that doesn't show up at our table.

Empty calories are the nails in the coffin they're building for the underprivileged, each sugary bite a muffled cry for something richer, something deeper. And we're handing out those nails, one school lunch at a time, hammering away at the innocence of youth with each processed, packaged lie we call food.
